New products gained top billing on ODT’s website this past holiday week.

The latests innovations from Stryker Corp., Acuitive Technologies, Medacta, and Inovedis garnered significant pageviews for their respective innovations in surgery, tendon fixation, acetabular realignment, and rotator cuff repair.

Stryker led the pack with its launch of the Ortho Q Guidance system, an autonomous system that the surgeon controls from the sterile field. Acuitive wasn’t too far behind with its Citrelock ACL Tendon Fixation Device debut, followed by Medacta’s first MyPAO surgeries (in Europe), and the FDA clearance of German startup Inovedis’ implant system for rotator cuff tears.

ARCH Medical Solutions drove traffic as well with its acquisition of Emerson, N.J.-based gSource LLC. ARCH bigwigs said the deal will strengthen the company’s position as a diversified supplier in the medical device contract manufacturing market.
