Globus Names New CEO, CFO Following Sudden Resignation

Keith Pfeil was promoted to president and CEO following Dan Scavilla's resignation to become chief exec of Dentsply Sirona.

Globus Medical revealed that Keith Pfeil, the company’s executive VP, chief operating officer (COO), and chief financial officer (CFO) has been appointed president and chief executive officer (CEO), effective July 18.

Daniel Scavilla resigned as president and CEO on July 18 to start a tenure as the CEO of Dentsply Sirona. Kyle Kline, senior VP of finance, was named senior VP and CFO.

“It has been an honor to lead Globus Medical and be part of this exceptional team,” said Scavilla. “As the Company continues to move forward, I have made the decision to step down to pursue another opportunity. I look forward to watching the company’s continued success as Keith leads Globus into its next chapter and know that he will drive meaningful impact to the Company as it moves ahead. I’m proud to have been part of Globus.”

Pfeil began his tenure with Globus in 2019 as senior VP and CFO. In 2024, he was named executive VP, COO, and CFO.

New senior VP and CFO Kyle Kline joined the company in 2017 as the assistant controller after spending almost a decade with Deloitte. He’s continuously taken on increased financial responsibility over his eight year career at Globus.
