GF Machining Solutions is intensifying its support of North American medical manufacturers with the opening of a new Medical Center of Competence at its Lincolnshire, Illinois, facility.
 
The new center will provide manufacturers supplying the medical industry with comprehensive applications support along with production technologies that include precision milling, EDM, laser texturing, micromachining and automation.
 
GF Machining Solutions will celebrate the grand opening of the new center with free special events on April 19 from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and on April 20 at the nearby GF Machining Solutions Microlution facility. At the Medical Center of Competence event, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the over 50,000 square-foot state-of-art facility and experience firsthand some of the most advanced technologies producing key medical components. In addition to special guest presentations, the event will showcase the company’s fully automated order to production system and specialized control demonstrations.
 
Also, as part of the grand opening celebration, GF Machining Solutions Microlution will conduct factory tours and product demonstrations in its facility at 6629 West Irvine Park Road, Chicago, on April 20th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Highlighted technologies include femto laser solutions that allow medical manufacturers to tackle their toughest high-precision machining applications.
