The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) announced the recipients of the 2025 Board of Specialty Societies (BOS) Research Support Fund Award. The awards support innovative, investigator-initiated research projects that advance musculoskeletal science and improve patient care across orthopedic subspecialties.

Two investigators and their sponsoring organizations will receive funding to support evidence-based research in musculoskeletal health care.

“The BOS Research Support Fund plays a critical role in supporting early-stage, clinically relevant research across the breadth of orthopaedics,” said AAOS Research and Quality Council Chair David S. Jevsevar, M.D. “By funding in these investigator-driven projects, AAOS fosters collaboration among our specialty societies while advancing scientific discovery that has the potential to improve outcomes for patients.”
