Aurora Spine is celebrating that its SiLO sacroiliac (SI) joint fusion system was successfully utilized in more than 2,500 procedures in the U.S.

The company’s SiLO platform—which includes the SiLO-TFX system—was designed to boost outcomes for patients with SI joint pain and dysfunction. It uses a posterior approach to enable secure SI joint transfixation. The company said it provides enhanced fixation, lower recovery times, and high patient satisfaction.

“This milestone is a key indicator of market acceptance and commercial scalability,” said Trent Northcutt, CEO of Aurora Spine. “SiLO is resonating with surgeons who want smarter solutions, and this is only the beginning. Our commitment to innovation, education, and execution continues to unlock meaningful growth opportunities.”

Aurora Spine said the SiLO-TFX system has gained traction because of intuitive instrumentation and reproducible outcomes. In April, the company published a new clinical study evaluating its performance compared to traditional posterolateral transosseous techniques.

“The SiLO-TFX system offers unprecedented clinical advantages in my practice,” said Dr. Michael Stoffman, MD, Neurosurgeon. “The instrumentation is intuitive, precise, and designed with the surgeon’s workflow in mind, allowing for consistent, reproducible outcomes and improved patient recovery.”

The company’s innovations also include the recently FDA-cleared Aero facet fusion system and its DEXA Technology matched interbodies, the latter of which are touted as the first spinal implants customized to a patient’s bone density.

“Our goal is to provide the most effective and least invasive treatment options, supported by robust clinical evidence,” said Matthew Goldstone, Aurora Spine’s Chief Commercial Officer. “We’re proud to have multiple peer-reviewed publications in 2025, with more on the horizon. Clinical data is the key to shaping the future of spine care.”
