CeramTec will soon undergo a changing of the guard.

Dr. Hadi Saleh is entering the home stretch of his directorial tenure: After 10 years as managing director, including seven years as CEO, Dr. Saleh will step back from his daily administrative duties in July and assume a non-executive director position on the company’s Supervisory Board.

Dr. Saleh’s successor will be Dr. Carla Kriwet, who will join CeramTec in July and gradually transition to her role as CEO and president of Medical by the end of the year (at the latest).

Dr. Kriwet has significant experience in leading successful global businesses at the forefront of their industries. She’s been CEO of BSH Haus-geräte GmbH, chief executive of Fresenius Medical Care AG, and CEO of the Connected Care division at Philips N.V.

Drs. Saleh and Kriwet will work closely together to ensure a smooth and effective transition for CeramTec and all stakeholders before the end of this year.
