Aurora Spine Makes 2 Promotions to VP Roles

Aurora Spine has promoted Matt Paxton to executive VP of sales and Katelyn Sims to area VP of commercialization and key accounts.

The company said both promotions highlight its commitment to developing talent. Both leaders played crucial roles in advancing Aurora’s mission to revolutionize spinal healthcare, the company also said.

Paxton will lead company-wide initiatives to drive operational excellence and strategic growth. Aurora said that over the years, he has been instrumental in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Sims will oversee implementation of dynamic sales and market strategies. She has a track record of building strong partnerships and has a passion for making a difference, Aurora said.

At last year’s North American Spine Society (NASS) annual meeting, Aurora Spine featured its SiLO TFX SI fusion system for sacroiliac (SI) joint fusion surgery. The company also showcased its DEXA-C interbody cage system, powered by its patented DEXA technology.
